A broadcaster and former staff member of the Ogun State Television (OGTV), Kitan Oyesiku, has been found dead along with her security guard at her residence in Ogun state.
According to a statement by the Ogun State Police Command, the incident happened at Iyana Agodo Village, Owode-Egba area of the state.
The Command’s Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, stated that a resident had raised an alarm over suspicious movements around the premises on Sunday, prompting police officers to visit the house.
Upon entry by the deployed police detectives, the guard’s corpse was discovered, after which the broadcaster’s body was later found inside her apartment.
“The victim’s vehicle was also observed missing from the premises,” the Police declared.
The PPRO noted that intelligence-led operations and surveillance had been extended to strategic locations as part of efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the deaths and recover the stolen vehicle.
