Job Description
The Relationship Officer is a pivotal role within the Growth and Wealth Management department. The primary objective is to manage and expand the firm’s client base by building strong, lasting relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and institutional investors. This role requires a blend of financial advisory expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven mindset to meet AUM (Assets Under Management) targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth: Proactively identify and onboard new HNI and institutional clients to grow the firm’s total Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of service, trust, and retention.
- Financial Advisory: Conduct thorough financial needs assessments for clients and recommend suitable Regius Assets products (e.g., Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Private Equity) that align with their risk profiles and investment goals.
- Market Insight: Stay updated on local and global financial market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products to provide informed advice to clients.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to offer additional financial products and services to existing clients to deepen the relationship.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate client records, prepare periodic portfolio performance reports, and ensure all KYC (Know Your Customer) and onboarding documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Brand Representation: Represent Regius Assets at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to enhance the firm’s market presence.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in relationship management, wealth management, or private banking within the financial services sector.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of HNI clients and meeting sales/AUM targets.
Knowledge & Skills
- Financial Literacy: Deep understanding of investment vehicles, capital markets, and wealth management principles.
- Sales & Negotiation: Strong ability to influence and close deals with sophisticated investors.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools to manage client pipelines and interactions.
